Your expectations of what you expect students to do/know at the end of instruction.
What students are able to do/know at the end of instruction including supporting evidence.
This is an area of concern for me. On the assessment website and under our tools for learning, I notice that these terms are used inconsistently. On some documents outcomes are used, and in others, objectives is used. The only distinction between these terms is temporal. Is this distinction really necessary? I think we should either have the terms paired on all web documents (i.e. goals and objectives/outcomes) or drop the term outcomes and replace it with objectives.
