This is Work-in-Progress document.

(tick) Test Case 1. Make the PSU Id's appointment expired in IBIS.  Try to add a Workflow TRMN form for this PSU id.  The error “Position  # cannot be terminated: This appointment is not currently active” should display and not allow the form to be added.

>> Test Result on 12-06-12

     * The psuid 9-2441-5651 is made active in IBIS and its appointment is expired in test IBIS before running Test Case 1.

  1. Log into PAWS/WF as user huw6.
  2. Create a TRMN form for psu ID 9-2441-5651. Click on Continue.
  3. Received error "Position 03789000 cannot be terminated: This appointment is not currently active". test case 1 screen capture

(tick) Test Case 2. Use a test PSU Id that is ACT (active) in IBIS.  Add a Workflow TRMN form so that the form status is DRA.  Make the PSU Id's appointment expired..  Try to submit the Workflow TRMN form.  The error “Position # cannot be terminated:  This appointment is not currently active” should display and not allow the form to be further processed.  This form should be rejected by the approver.

>> Test Result on 12-06-12:

  1. Donna manually reloaded the data for psu ID 9-2441-5651 and made it active and also made the appointment end date in the future.
  2. Log into PAWS/WF as user huw6.
  3. Create a TRMN form for psu ID 9-2441-5651
  4. User huw6 tried to create a TRMN form for psu id 9-2441-5651, Other, termination date 12/01/2012, and save as draft, form # 163595.
  5. Donna made the 9-2441-5651's appointment expired in test.  .
  6. User huw6 tried to submit the form #163595, and received  the error "

    There are errors on this form. Please review and correct:

    • Position 00258000 cannot be terminated: this appointment is not currently active,IBIS appt end date is 11/30/2012“  Test case 2 screen capture

(tick) Test Case 3. Use a test PSU Id that is ACT (active) in IBIS.  Add and Submit a Workflow TRMN form so that the form status is INP (In Process).  Make the PSU Id's appointment expired.  Approve the form to the Payroll Central Desk but do not approve it as the Central Desk – that is, do not process the form to a PRO (Processed) or UPD (update) status.  Modify the Form at Payroll Central Desk. Save the form and users hould receive the warnings.

>> Test Result on 12-06-12:

  4. Submit the form. Record the form number  #163596. The form is now in INP status.
  5. Donna made the 9-2441-5651's appointment expired in test. 
  6. As user tosd16 at HR Rep step, in Workflow system, approved the Workflow TRMN form 163596, and received the following warning:  testCase3 - warrning HR.jpg

    WARNING: Employee's Appointment End Date has changed - verify this change before approving

    WARNING: Employee's Position Status has changed - verify this change before approving

  7. As user huw6 at Budget Admin step, in Workflow system, approved the Workflow TRMN form 163596  and received the same warning as above.
    As user huw6 at Budget Executive step, in Workflow system, approved the Workflow TRMN form 163596  and received the same warning as above.
    As user huw6 at Financial Officer step, in Workflow system, approved the Workflow TRMN form 163596  , and received the following warning:   

    Form No. 163596 has been successfully updated.

    Form No. 163596 has been successfully approved.

    WARNING: Employee's Appointment End Date has changed - verify this change before approving

    WARNING: Employee's Position Status has changed - verify this change before approving

  8. As user huw6 at OHR Central Desk step, in Workflow system, approved the Workflow TRMN form 163596  , and received the following error:  testCase3 - warrning OHR Central Desk.jpg

    WARNING: Employee's Appointment End Date has changed - verify this change before approving

    WARNING: Employee's Position Status has changed - verify this change before approving

  9. As user huw6 at Payroll Central Desk step, in Workflow system, modified the Workflow TRMN form 163596  , change the Pay Period End Date from 12/31/12 to 12/01/12, Select Yes to "Period has been completed in IBIS" question, save the form and receive the following error:  testCase3 - warrning Payroll.jpg

Test Case 4. (Continue from Test Case 3).  Use the form created at Test Case 3. Approve the form at the Payroll Central Desk to make the form in PRO status by using the Form Effective Date in the future.  This should place the form in UPD status and cut a TRLOG for batch processing.  Contact an IBIS developer to process the Test Workflow Form through the Batch Form Process.  This form should process correctly in IBIS

>> Test Result on 12-05-12:

  1. Log into PAWS/WF as user huw6.
  2. Create a TRMN form for psu ID 9-2441-5651, Type - Voluntary,  Reason - Other and termination date as 12/31/12.
  3. Submit the form. Record the form number #163586. The form is now in INP status.
  4. As user huw6, approved the form #163586 at HR Rep step,  Budget Admin step, FO step, OHR Central Desk step.
  5. As user huw6,at Payroll central desk step, changed the Form Effective Date to 12/06/12, approve the form #163586 .

Test Case 5. (Rerun Test Case 3, and continue from Test Case 3).  Use the form created at Test Case 3. Approve the form at the Payroll Central Desk to make the form in UPD status by using the Form Effective Date in the past. The approve should go through successfully with warnings.
