Creating an X-PSU-Spam-Flag Filter in Thunderbird

  1. Start Thunderbird.
  2. Make a folder under your @psu.edu folder called Junk if you don't have one.
  3. Go to Tools and select Message Filters.
  4. Click  New.
  5. In the Filter name box type PSU Spam Filter.
  6. Select Match all of the following.
  7. Click the drop down list and choose Customize.
  8. In the Customize Headers box type X-PSU-Spam-Flag.
  9. Click Add.
  10. Click OK.
  11. In the drop down list, select the X-PSU-Spam-Flag.
  12. In the next box, choose Contains .
  13. In the last box, type YES.
  14. Select the box for Set Junk Status to:
  15. Select the Junk
  16. Click OK.
