Select Multiple Items in Windows

It's easy to select multiple files at the same time in Windows. Here's how:

If the files are located next to each other....

  1. Hold down the SHIFT Key and click the item file to select it, then scroll to the last file you want to select and click that one too.
  2. All item in between will be selected.

If the files are NOT located next to each other....

  1. Hold down the CTRL Key and click the first file to select it.
  2. While holding the CTRL key, click to select remaining files, one at a time.

Tip: Try right-clicking your selected items to Copy (or Delete) from the context-sensitive menu that appears.
