Scaled Printing from Internet Browser

Scaled Printing from a Browser

These instructions should work for many of the HP laser type printers. Inkjet style printers may have the scaled printing located under Print→Properties→Setup.

Scaled Printing in Internet Explorer

  1. Within the Internet Explorer (IE) browser click File→Print.
  2. Select Preferences and then the Effects tab.
  3. Within the Resizing Options panel, click the button for Print Document On.  The Scale to Fit option will become active, and by default Letter size is selected.
  4. If text still does not fit within the letter sized paper then, under the Print Document On option, click the button to activate the % of Normal Size, and then change the number from 100 to something like 90. (You may have to experiment with the percent of size until you get everything to fit.)
