Getting Started with Google Analytics

Getting a Google Analytics Account (Libraries Staff-Specific)

  1. If your University Libraries unit does not already have one, create a department/unit/[subject] library Google Account.  (If your unit already has a PSUL unit Google Account, see step 2 below.)
    1. Go to http://www.google.com/analytics/.
    2. Click the Sign Up Now.

For security reasons, make sure you do not use the same password for your Google Account as you use to check your email.

  2. University Libraries units should send the account name to Andrew Calvin so that he can create your department/unit profile.

Each department/unit will be responsible for maintaining its Google Account: password changes, personnel changes. etc.
