Retrospectives help teams to make improvements in process, environment, and behavior.

The team should identify one point of improvement during a Retrospective and follow up on it during the very next round of work (for Agile teams, this would be the next Iteration, or Sprint. This single point of improvement is called the Retrospective Objective. The practice of choosing just one improvement protects the team from the burden of trying to fix everything at once.
