  • PMO provides dedicated project management throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Establish project wiki space (meeting notes, project plan, etc.), Yammer group (communications) and Box (project documents & artifacts) instance.

ITS-wide

Project Examples:

  • Database Hosting
  • Minor ScholarSphere releases
  • Software Duplication

 

  • Project Lead
  • Project Team
  • Project Management Consulting & Monitoring

Other roles will be identified at the project level 

  • Normal changes or enhancements
  • Impacting and bringing value to SaS
  • Potential impact and value to ITS
  • PMO works directly with Project Lead, providing tactical guidance throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Establish project wiki space (meeting notes, project plan, etc.), Yammer group (communications) and Box (project documents & artifacts) instance.

  • Firewall upgrades
  • Backbone migrations
  • Meet-Me Bridge Changes

 

  • Project Lead
  • Project Management Consulting (as needed)

Other roles will be identified at the project level 

  • Normal changes or enhancements
  • Impacting and bringing value to SaS
  • PMO provides ad hoc tactical guidance and instruction on using project templates and other resources.

  1. This looks great! My only suggestion is to consider breaking out "training" from "Support" if it's a required role. 

  2. Done! I would like to revisit whether Service Desk & Support and Training are required for Tier 2 projects. Perhaps they are as needed based on the project. Thoughts?
