ORIS implemented Scrum several years ago. As is the case with most unit-wide changes, there have been ups and downs. Despite that, implementing Scrum has been a transformative game-changer and has helped ORIS to “start finishing and stop starting”. Several years in, ORIS is finding “scrum tune-ups” to be a useful investment that has resulted in improvements in stakeholder involvement, intra-unit communication, performance metrics and improved burndown reports. Misha Kononov, Chris Lose and Laura Young will share their experiences on where they’ve been with Scrum and how continued investment in scrum training can result in significant improvements.
