Below is the map of interpolated bathymetric depth data based on the underlying bathymetric map.  We digitized points in one square of the map for each of the depth points in that square.  Then, we ran an IDW-squared interpolation of the points (which are shown on the map below) with a search radius of 12 points.  Below is the result of the interpolation.  The area of highest elevation on the map represents an island (Islas Soto), although the nisland is not entirely contained within the square.  Although it is not possible to see on the map, the georeferencing of the underlying map was slightly off (by about half a kilometer) over the entire map.
